| , the season is really shaping up to be a good one. Dayne and Petter were up in Marlborough with Mark Partington last week. The vineyards are looking exceptionally good and on target for a harvest starting in two weeks. Waipara is busy with bird netting. The bird population has skyrocketed in recent weeks, probably due to the finish of the grain harvest in the district. The winery staff are flat out cleaning, tidying and organising for the start of harvest. “Jamie” from Christchurch will be returning for his fourth harvest. We have three internationals coming for harvest. Cecilia Jost from Germany, Julien De Witt and Aurore Dezat from France. Mark Jones has returned from a quick trip to Perth. He was there to assist Inwine’s new Perth office with a trade tasting. They had an excellent response to the event and Mark was very pleased with the trip. Kathryn is very busy in the office with orders going out all over the world and there is always a lot of paper work for her to complete. So, busy times ahead! http://sites.google.com/site/sherwoodintranet/Home |
