| Happy New Year and Welcome to 2010!
The staff are slowly returning from their holidays, refreshed and relaxed.
In the vineyards flowering has finished and the fruit set is good. We are all set for an excellent vintage this year. The vines have been growing rapidly and the staff are flat out wire lifting, tucking, mowing and cultivating.
This season’s weather has been very changeable with cooler, damper weather creating
its own challenges.
The office has quietened down since the exceptionally busy pre-Christmas period.
The winery staff are busy filtering wines and bottling to empty tanks in preparation for this years harvest.
Jason is off to Australia in two weeks. He is heading to the Hunter Valley for their vintage to gain further vintage experience. We are all wondering how he will cope with the awful 40+ degree heat!!
