We had a fabulous Harvest Dinner last Friday night with Dayne Sherwood as the chef. Wonderful food, wonderful wine and a great night all round!

Harvest is winding down and the Matthais, our German vintage worker has left us for travels in New Zealand and Australia.
Matthais, Ophelie and Guillaume had an extra-curricular experience fitted in around harvest. They all had a go at shearing a sheep! They all did very well indeed, as you can see.
Rain has finally come to the valley and the timing couldn’t be much better. The harvest was exceptionally dry and warm which was a bonus after the rather poor start to the summer.
Mark Jones is travelling in Europe at the moment and he is having trouble with the ash cloud cancellations like everyone else. We are hoping that he can actually get to the London wine show!
