Notes
The Stratum 2008 Cabernet Merlot is a blend of Hawkes Bay Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah with a touch of Waipara Pinot Noir.
The selected parcels of fruit were individually fermented and barrel aged for 6 months prior to blending and bottling.
The Stratum 2008 Cabernet Merlot displays dark red, berry fruit aromatics with hints of spice and coffee. The palate is rich and rounded with a long finish.
A wine to be enjoyed over the next 2-4 years. |
