CLEARWATER 2003 SAUVIGNON BLANC
Winemakers Notes
The Clearwater 2003 Sauvignon Blanc is produced from grapes grown on our Selmes Road and Hammerichs Road vineyards in Marlborough.After harvesting the fruit, the freerun juice portion was selected for barrel fermentation and ageing. The wine spent 10 months on lees prior to blending, fining and bottling.
The Clearwater Sauvignon Blanc displays ripe passionfruit aromas supported by touches of capsicum. The palate shows richness and concentration with a long balanced finish. A wine to be enjoyed over the next 2 to 3 years.
