Winemakers Notes

The Sherwood Estate 2003 Sauvignon Blanc is produced from grapes grown on our Selmes Road and Hammerichs Road vineyards in Marlborough.

The fruit was gently pressed, settled and cool fermented to retain the true expression of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Following a light fining and filtration the wine was bottled.

The Sauvignon Blanc displays intense gooseberry and passionfruit aromas on the nose. The palate is fresh and lively with a long lingering finish. A wine to be enjoyed now and over the next one to two years.
