Tasting Notes

STRATUM 2006 RIESLING

Winemakers Notes

The Stratum Riesling is sourced from our vineyards in Waipara, North Canterbury.
The fruit was machine harvested in excellent condition in late April 2006.

Following a light pressing of the fruit, the juice was fermented under cool conditions for 21 days. After three months extended lees contact the wine was lightly fined, filtered and bottled.

The 2006 Stratum Riesling is fresh and lively with an off dry finish. A wine with abundant floral and citrus aromas that can be enjoyed on most occasions.
