The Stratum Riesling sourced from Marlborough fruit was harvested late April 2003 at optimum ripeness.
The fruit was gently crushed and pressed and settled prior to undergoing a cool fermentation. Following a light fining and filtration the wine was bottled.
The 2003 Riesling captures the true essence of Marlborough Riesling. The nose displays floral aromas with hints of lemon and lime. The palate is fresh and round and finishes in an off-dry style. A youthful Riesling to be enjoyed now while also benefiting from careful cellaring.
