Sherwood Estate Wines celebrating 25 years of winegrowing

Tasting Notes

Winemakers Notes

The Stratum 2004 Sauvignon Blanc is produced from grapes grown on our Rowley Crescent, Selmes Road and Hammerichs Road vineyards in Marlborough.

The fruit was gently pressed and settled prior to a cool fermentation for 19 days. After a short period of lees contact the wine was lightly fined and filtered prior to bottling.

The Sauvignon Blanc displays fresh fragrant aromas of gooseberries and capsicum on the nose. The palate is fresh and lively with a long lingering finish. A wine to be enjoyed over the next two years.
